The Product Administration module enables you to create, delete and manage products and related costs with a script that uses a Shopping Basket control. Products are not transferable between scripts, however they can be duplicated within a script. If you need to use the same products over and over for different scripts, you can copy the script and its related products in the script editor.
When you first access the Product Administration module, you will need to choose a script, after which you can access the following options:
Products can be associated with groups. Groups are created when a product is created. Products are added to Groups when they are created by typing the name of an existing group into the group name. See Product Administration - General.
View a list of all products for the currently selected script. From here you can adjust stock, duplicate, edit and delete multiple products.
When adjusting stock, entering a positive number will add that number to the Current Stock value, entering a negative number will reduce Current Stock accordingly.
This option is no longer functional. Create tags associated with products by clicking on an individual product link and expanding the Additional Information section.
Products can be associated with payment instalment plans where the purchaser is given the option to pay for the product through a predefined number of instalments of predefined amounts:
