Once you have completed your script that will create tasks, you need to create a script (admin script) to help the agents action the tasks assigned to their user group. This control displays all of the relevant information for the tasks assigned to the current agent group in a grid. When creating a task, using the Task Management Insert Task Control, you specify a "DDI" phrase that will launch the script where the agent can action the task.
Once the grid is displayed, agents can right click any particular record to run, delay, cancel the task, or cancel a group of related tasks. Note that the only tasks that appear are "Call" types.
The task management control displays in script as follows:
Right click on the record to display the action menu:
- Run Record: Open script using DDI listed in tblMQs
- Delay Task: Reschedule task
- Cancel Task: Sets the single task as cancelled
- Cancel Group: Cancel all future tasks with matching Reference
- Assign Task: Assign the task to a user
Field Name
Give your field an appropriate name. This is particularly important if using it in a calculation or report. Changing a field name will not automatically update corresponding reports that use that field.
