The Outbound Linked Records Control provides the following functionality:
Within the Agent Desktop:
View all records linked to the current record using shared data specified by the script builder (e.g., account ID) within a grid
Filter/search for specific records
Complete all records related to the current record
Assign individual records to themselves
Rescheduled and assign individual records to themselves
Within the Script Editor:
Drop a grid control into a script to display fields from the call list and script
Select a campaign
Select a single or all call lists
Specify columns from the script or call list to display to the Agent
Specify which columns the agent can filter data on
The call list is loaded in the usual manner in the Campaign Manager, with consideration given to how the records can be grouped if required (for example, by region).
The control is modified in the Script Editor to link to a campaign and call list, and to determine what data is viewed by the agent. The Properties to modify what the agent can see in the grid, as well as setting filtering and searching functionality, are set in the Script Editor using the Advanced Properties button:
Display information from the script in the table
Display information from the call list in the table
Match: This matches a records to a script field. It will only show records that match the script field (e.g, if the script field is Company A, only records that match Company A will show in the table).
Search: if the Search option is ticked, this column of data will have a text box at top of grid to allow agent to type and search for records
Hidden: This hides the entire column from the agent (for example, the column of data needs to be used to group records, but this information does not need to be available for the agent).
This control can be used in an Inbound script to launch an Outbound Script/Record. The Inbound script is closed automatically, removing any resulting Incomplete Script Runs.
When the agent is running the script the following options are presented when they right click onto a record:
Assign record: assign to a specific agent
Reschedule: to reschedule a record
Top of call list: move to the top of the call list (next record to call)
Bottom of call list: low priority, move to bottom of call list
