You may wish to save a report to a path whether run using the report scheduler on run manually. In order that the server on which the CallScripter report is being run and the server containing the path/location to which you want your report saved can communicate.
If you wish to save a report file to a path, this needs to be accessible from the CallScripter server i.e a share path or folder path.
If you wish to save a scheduled report file to a path, this needs to be accessible from the scheduler server (if different) i.e. a share path or folder path.
