We want to ensure the installation of CallScripter software goes smoothly. Please ensure your technical team are fully aware of the infrastructure requirements and note that the following information is intended as a guide only and not a definitive requirements list.
Due to the variations in how scripts are built and the load this places on the hardware there is no single correct specification for all scenarios. Due the flexible platform CallScripter provides we recommend Virtual Servers are utilized where possible to support changing usage patterns.
The following requirements are based on average resource requirements for Windows Server 2012 64bit. Older versions of Windows and 32bit servers can require fewer resources for the Windows Server elements. SQL servers will always benefit from more RAM and so if double the specified RAM is available the application will provide a smoother experience.
Concurrent Active Agent count based requirements
The below table indicates approximate hardware requirements based upon the number of concurrently active agents (users) of any CallScripter instances on shared server resource pools.
Please Contact us for further information if required.
Concurrent Users

Hardware Guide
|
Below 100 users
|
Single IIS & SQL Server:
4 core 2.5 GHz processor
6 GB RAM (3 * 2GB)
100 GB hard disk space for application and Databases – see the Database Sizing tool page for further details.
|
100 - 200 users
|
The below 100 users specification may be suitable; however it is advisable to run IIS and SQL on separate boxes to spread load and provide resilience. A higher spec single server is also a valid option, however SQL licensing costs can dictate infrastructure design.

Above 200 users.
Recommended building blocks
|
For environments above 200 users, Web & SQL servers in clusters should be used as building blocks to provide resource capacity and resilience. We recommend Virtual Servers to provide the resource scalability required for changing scripting and integration requirements.
CallScripter will engage directly with partners and/or customers in order to help size the infrastructure required to provide a robust reliable solution. The below is provided as a guide:
For 200 users we would recommend 1 of the below server blocks with an additional block for each additional 200 users. These blocks are active available resources and do not include passive redundancy facilities/resources.
Server Block
Web Server:
6 GB RAM minimum.
4 core 2.5 GHz processor
SQL Server:
8 GB RAM minimum.
4 core 2.5 GHz processor
